The SICC May Day Charity has been a long-standing tradition of The Singapore Island Country Club, where resources are not spared to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate. When Cheong Thiam Siew mooted the idea of a charity event for SICC in 1972, it was with conviction that as one of the most prestigious clubs in Singapore, the SICC should do its part to help the less fortunate in society. This belief has since been deeply ingrained in the Club's tradition. Here are some facts and figures on our treasured fund-raising campaign. |
