Calling All Squash Players!

SICC will be hosting the SICC/Marigold 1st International Squash Jumbo Doubles Tournament from 1 to 3 July 2011, sponsored by Malaysia Dairies Industries Pte Ltd.

Venue: Tennis & Squash Complex, Bukit location

Categories: Open Event for all players to contest.

Format of play: The matches will all be played in accordance with the WSF rules currently in force. The main event shall adopt a format where all matches will comprise of a best-of-one set to 15 points knock-out format. The last 16 pairs will see a play-off series being played to determine the ranking. Semi-finals & finals to be played, best-of-three sets to 11 points. 5th to 16th placing to be played, best-of-one set to 15 points.

First round losers from the main event will be eligible to participate in the Plate Event where a full knock-out format will be adopted and all matches will comprise of a best of 1 set to 11 points, American scoring format.

Sunday, 26 June 2011:	10.00 am	Qualifying round for local players (if required)
Friday, 1 July 2011:	3.00 pm 7.30 pm	Matches begin Welcome Buffet Dinner
Saturday, 2 July 2011:	9.00 am	Continuation of matches
Sunday, 3 July 2011:	9.00 am 3.00 pm	Semi-finals & Final of plate events Final of the main event Farewell lunch & prize presentation

charged S$20 per event (for the Welcome Dinner and the Farewell Lunch).
