Private Golf Tournaments at SICC We believe that our golf courses are arguably the most beautiful courses set in verdant Pierce and MacRitchie reservoirs. Choose from natural and picturesque Island, Sime or New course for your next private golf competition. The Sime Course offers a scenic and serene view of the MacRitchie Reservoir. It has prompted many descriptions such as “reminiscent of the Thames (UK) in the summer” and it was once described as being like an English park, “thoughtfully planted with casuarinas, tembusu and other selected trees”.Weaving through old trees, the Island Course is both hilly and picturesque. It is the shortest 18-hole golf course, where both nines start and finish with very similar holes but Holes 9 and 18 are potential card wreakers as well, so beware! The course was originally designed by Peter Robinson and later rebunkered by five-time British Open champ Peter Thomson. Experience the rainforest and challenge yourself on the Island location’s New Course. Considered the most challenging course at SICC, this course boasts natural terrain, wildlife and rainforest as it is carved out of a natural virgin jungle. Since the course opened in 1965, it has undergone further improvements including its holes being reorganised and new ones added so that both nines return to the Island location Clubhouse, off Thomson Road. As an SICC Member, you can host your own private golf competition, be it for your golf buddies who are not members or for key corporate clients and stakeholders. Our courses are open for private competitions on weekdays. We can tailor a competition for as few as 20 or as many as 144 golfers, with value added services like buggies, caddies, locker facilities, computerised scoring and a full gamut of F&B services for a post game lunch or dinner.
