News & Updates
Road User Safety The zebra crossing at the Bukit Clubhouse ProShop is meant to give way to pedestrians. Over the past few weeks, there was an increase in the number of reports on failure by drivers to stop and give way to pedestrians. Not giving way to pedestrians may lead to road traffic accidents. Please note that motorists are to abide by the traffic rules and give way to pedestrians at the zebra crossing.
We would like to urge all motorists to make a conscious effort in complying with the traffic regulations to ensure the safety of all road users.
Buggy Service Please be advised that the buggy service at the Island Clubhouse will be suspended during a heavy downpour for the safety of the buggy operator and passenger. A moving buggy can be a focus for a lightning strike, and this is especially so when the buggy is warm, creating a rising stream of relatively warmer air. For a buggy to be protected against the effect of lightning is to have a lightning conductor on the roof of the buggy, which is costly and a complicated process. The Club insurer does not provide any insurance coverage for the buggy, operator and passengers if they are struck by lightning.
We seek your kind understanding and patience when requesting for a buggy service during the peak hours, especially during a heavy downpour.
Parking at Bukit and Island We have noticed the take-up rate of the carpark lots at both Bukit and Island Locations are relatively high during peak periods that we are unable to meet the parking needs of our Members.
Please be informed that Members without the SICC car decal should refrain from parking at the Members’ parking lots under any circumstances, and will be directed to park at the guest carpark. Enforcement action and penalty will be taken against Members who do not comply.
Members who do not have the new SICC car decal are advised to get a replacement from the Membership Department as the old ones are no longer valid.
We seek your full cooperation in this matter.
Accolades!

To Mr. Yim and his GC team:
Thank you for a very informative and impressive presentation last evening. Two hours plus of entertaining, spellbinding, enthusiastic oratory which did not once threaten to become boring.
I use the adjective "entertaining" because I truly enjoyed listening to Mr. Yim, who believes in the vision for the Club, conveys it with passion and wanswers any cynical observers quite convincingly.
I cannot help but feel energized about the coming changes, the increasing value of Club memberships and the positive vibes from this hardworking proactive team.
I look forward to the next forum and hope you will continue to allow spousal members to attend. While we can't vote, we can sign chits and support the Club. We look forward to spending Easter Sunday at Windows•On•Bukit.
Respectfully yours, John Driscoll C-1619/88

Change in Security Services The Club has engaged the services of Mainguard Security Services Singapore Pte Ltd with effect from 1 September 2009. The guards are identifiable by their light brown shirts and dark blue pants.
Members are requested to be patient with the new guards as they familiarise themselves with our environs, and with the procedures of directing traffic within the Club.
