The Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) is Singapore's most established and largest golf and country club with premium facilities for an elite membership. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to join us as:

1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE, HUMAN RESOURCE
You will be handling full spectrum of HR duties, which includes but is not limited to recruitment & employment administration, compensation & benefits, industrial relations, collective agreement renewal, formulating HR policies & procedures and be involved in ad-hoc HR projects.

Pre-requisites:

  • A good Degree / Diploma with 2 - 4 years' full spectrum HR experience in hotels / country clubs / service industry
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effectively bilingual
  • Must be a team player, with strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated and committed
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Analytical, meticulous, systematic and well-organised

2. LIFESTYLE EXECUTIVE
You will assist in coordinating and planning the lifestyle and social activities offered by the Club.

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years' events management experience, in the leisure or hospitality industry
  • Good communication and people management skills
  • Able to speak, understand and write fluent English
  • Computer literate in MS Office (Word / Excel)
  • Pleasant and service-oriented
  • Must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays, if required

3. DIGITAL MEDIA-GRAPHIC DESIGNER

As a member of the Marcom team, you will be responsible for the design and update of the Club's interactive media, particularly the website. You will also be involved in graphic design work as needed.

Job Description:

  • Fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance, maintenance and update of the Club's online website, ensuring that brand continuity is maintained.
  • Perform creative design works on primarily web and other interactive platforms and occasionally print platforms.
  • Create strong online presence that generates interest and draws traffic to our website.

Pre-requisites:

  • At least a Diploma in Graphic / Interactive Media Design or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' working experience in web design
  • Proficient in Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Flash ActionScripts, JavaScripts, CSS, HTML, Web 2.0 and Content Management tools
  • Possess excellent layout skills, strong color sense and good typography ability
  • Comfortable on Mac and PC
  • Independent and able to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Pleasant, resourceful, creative and energetic team player


4. GOLFING OFFICER / MARSHAL
You will be responsible in ensuring the pace of play and governing the golf etiquette at the golf course (marshaling duties).

Pre-requisites:

  • GCE "O" / "A" Levels
  • Knowledge of golf is a must
  • Excellent communication skills with relevant customer service experience
  • Computer literate in MS Office (Word / Excel)
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

5. GOLFING ASSISTANT
You will assist in all golf related reception / administration duties; handle enquiries pertaining to golf, time sheets bookings, course reservations, etc.

Pre-requisites:

  • Minimum GCE "N" Levels with at least 1 year of front line / customer service experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office (Word / Excel)
  • Pleasant and service-oriented
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

6. COURSE STEWARD (Starter)
You will assist in the recording of the golf census sheet and monitoring of the golf play.

Pre-requisites:

  • Secondary education, preferably with relevant experience
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

7. BUGGY STEWARD
You will assist in the issuing and returning of buggies, as well as general maintenance of buggies.

Pre-requisites:

  • Secondary education, preferably with relevant experience
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

8. GOLF COURSE STAFF
Pre-requisites:

  • Preferably with some gardening or golf course maintenance experience
  • Preferably with valid driving licence

9. JACKPOT ASSISTANT
Pre-requisites:

  • Minimum Secondary 4 education / SPM for Malaysians
  • Preferably with experience in jackpot operations
  • Good numeric skills
  • Able to speak and write English
  • Pleasant and service-oriented
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays


10. RECEPTIONIST

You will be responsible for the achievement of members' satisfaction in terms of service response time and the quality of our services and responses. Armed with good communication and interpersonal skills, you will ensure that members' needs (e.g. booking of movie tickets, etc) and queries are promptly attended to.

Pre-requisites:
  • GCE "A" Levels / Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' customer service experience in the service/hospitality industry
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people of all level
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Ability to speak in other local languages/dialects is an added advantage
  • Must be a team player, highly motivated, committed and able to work under pressure

11. FACILITIES ASSISTANT (Housekeeping)
Pre-requisites:

  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping (public area cleaning)
  • Able to handle heavy outdoors work
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

12. WAITER / WAITRESS
Pre-requisites:

  • GCE "O" Levels / SPM for Malaysians
  • Preferably with F&B experience
  • Able to speak and write English
  • Pleasant and service-oriented
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

13. COOK (Western / Local)
Pre-requisites:

  • NTC 3 in Food Preparation
  • At least 1 year' relevant experience in a similar position in leading hotels / clubs / restaurants
  • Experience in local dessert cooking will be advantageous
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

14. DISHWASHER / F&B STEWARD (Stewarding)
Pre-requisites:

  • Relevant experience with knowledge in dishwashing and stewarding
  • Able to handle heavy outdoors work
  • Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
