Experience the rainforest and challenge yourself on the Island location's New Course. Considered the most challenging course at SICC, this course boasts natural terrain, wildlife and rainforest as it is carved out of a natural virgin jungle. Since the course opened in 1965, it has undergone further improvements including its holes being reorganised and new ones added so that both nines return to the Island location Clubhouse, off Thomson Road.

The course, which covers 6,319m, was originally designed by UK's Frank Pennink, one of the most famous architects of golf courses, and officially opened in 1970 by Chief Justice Wee Chong Jin. British Open winner, Australia's Peter Thomson, later took on the challenge of remodeling the course and upgraded it to a sand-based course boasting a state-of-the-art drainage system that allows the course to remain playable throughout the year.

The redeveloped New Course was opened in 2002 and the ceremony was officiated by former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.

*A total maximum of 8 guests only are allowed for Saturday mornings' game.

Note:

1. The use of buggies is compulsory.

2. Only non-metal spiked golf shoes are allowed.

3. Every Tuesday & Thursday morning, 9 hole game are available from 7:00am to 7:30am (5 flights). The order of play will be based on first come first served basis and only 2, 3 and 4 ball matches will be allowed.

4. Last issue of buggies at 5:30pm.
