Another figure on the courts is Ong Chin Chuan, who has a wealth of experience in playing and coaching. He took the SLTA Basic Coaching Course in 1979 and coached in the 1979 SLTA Cando Jackson Junior Tennis Training Scheme for national junior players. An ex-national player from 1977 to 1978, Chin Chuan was the Police Champion from 1972 to 1996 and won the Pesta Sukan Veteran Age Group (45+) Singles Championship in 1996.

Presently, he is the Head Coach of the Pee-Wee Tennis Programme, which is catered to children ages three-and-a-half up to seven years old, and held every Saturday mornings. He also conducts private coaching lessons for all ages.
